Description  on the reverse of the card:

Sunflowers

Van Gogh painted many versions and replicas of the “Sunflowers” during the course of his life. The first he depicted were those used to decorate Gauguin’s room in the Yellow House he rented in Arles. Universally, the sunflower is a symbolic representation for the constant search for light, which could be regarded as a symbol of self-discovery and enlightenment.
